Akoonah Park is Crown Land reserved as a Show Ground and Recreation Reserve.  It is situated in the City of Casey on the eastern edge of Berwick adjoining the Cardinia Creek.

The area of 11 hectares has been developed by the volunteer committe of management to provide facilities for the Berwick Agricultural Society and recreational facilities for the community.

                                                      A very popular weekly market operates every Sunday from 8am - 1.30pm

The Berwick and District Agricultural & Horticultural Society hold their annual 2 day show the last weekend in February and their Horse Show 2 weeks later in March.

Overlooking our grassed arena for sporting events, Akoonah Park features a 150 seat Function Room available for hire for Special Occasion Functions, community fund raisers, conventions, training days and the like.

Some other features of the Park include the Young Farmers building - a small building located near our playground making it ideal for childrens parties, walking tracks, basketball rings, BBQ areas, all weather horse dressage areas, cattle tie up yards and of course camping.

Two equestrian all weather dressage arenas are located at the northern end of the Reserve and are open for public use.
