Booking a Stall

All prospective Stallholders are required to complete a Stallholder Application before they will be considered for a stall at Akoonah Park Market.

Please note: If you have previously filled in an application you do not need to complete another for each week simply email:  marketmanager@akoonahpark.com.au to arrange a stall.

Once you have completed your application, you will receive notification by email as to your application status. If your application is accepted you will receive an invoice with your stall number during the week of your Market. Community Stall

Akoonah Park Market provides a free stall each week for community fund raising. Please contact our bookings officer via email:  marketmanager@akoonahpark.com.au for further details and bookings.

Stall Costs

Outdoor standard stall (including Shed B) $40.00
Outdoor Stall (corner site) $55.00
Indoor standard stall $45.00
Power per lead $5.00
Indoor equipment storage per week $5.00
Coffee vendor (2 power leads per site) $70.00
Food site with no coffee sales – power included (maximum 2 leads) $100.00
Food site with coffee sales – power included (maximum 2 leads) $110.00
Alcohol sales outdoors (including shed B) $60.00
Alcohol sales indoors $65.00
Ice cream vendor $65.00
Weekly power fee $10
Administrative Late Fee $20

Market Information For Stallholders

Insurance

Akoonah Park Committee of Management (APCoM) has Public Liability Insurance for APCoM only. Stallholders should ensure that they have PLI to cover themselves.

Vehicles

Vehicles are not permitted in the market area including the sheds after 7.30am or before 1.30pm. Vehicles should be parked as specified by the Market Staff. The first 3 rows of parking in the main carpark are for customers only.

Electrical Goods

In accordance with the Electrical Safety Act 1998 all secondhand electrical goods must have a label attached stating that the item is second hand and has been (a) inspected and tested and complies with Australian/New Zealand standard (AUS/NZS)  or (b) the equipment is secondhand with the additional words Danger- Do not use or connect to supply – this electrical equipment may be faulty and should be inspected by a competent person in accordance with AUS/NZS 3760.

Extreme Weather

The Akoonah Park Committee of Management reserves the right to cancel the Market in the event of extreme weather condition
